New Poll Numbers
With less than four months to go before Oregonians begin voting, Democratic voters across the state are sending a loud and clear message: John Kitzhaber should be our next Governor. Here are the numbers:
John Kitzhaber: 55%
Bill Bradbury: 21%
Jerry Wilson: 2%
Undecided: 22%
Poll of 554 likely Democratic primary voters conducted 2/4-9 by Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin, Metz & Associates. Margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.2% at the 95 percent confidence level. Read the full memo.
Furthermore, John Kitzhaber leads across the entire state, in every congressional district:
CD1: Kitzhaber 54%, Bradbury 25%, Wilson 3%, Undecided 18%
CD2: Kitzhaber 46%, Bradbury 25%, Wilson 1%, Undecided 28%
CD3: Kitzhaber 58%, Bradbury 20%, Wilson 2%, Undecided 20%
CD4: Kitzhaber 60%, Bradbury 13%, Wilson 1%, Undecided 26%
CD5: Kitzhaber 53%, Bradbury 22%, Wilson 2%, Undecided 23%
While we're heartened by these numbers, this has never been a campaign about polls -- it’s a campaign about the future of Oregon. And there is plenty of work to do.
To truly change Oregon, every Oregonian needs to hear John's message of fundamental reform and progress. And we need to organize a team of grassroots volunteers to carry that message to doorsteps in every corner of the state – and invite every Oregonian to be part of the effort.
